How this works
Material cost is your model's weight times the per-gram price of the roll it came off.
cost/g = roll price ÷ roll weight
material = model weight × cost/g
Electricity uses average draw, not the printer's peak rating. A Kobra 2 Neo is rated 400W but only pulls that during initial heating — for most of a PLA print at 0.2mm the heaters are cycling, so real average draw sits closer to 120–150W.
hours = hh + mm/60 + ss/3600
kWh = (avg watts ÷ 1000) × hours
electricity = kWh × rate
Grand total is just material plus electricity. Nothing accounts for failed prints, wear on nozzles, or your time — that's on you to price in.
